If you are planning on travelling distance to attractions, we would recommend that you contact the venues directly in advance to avoid disappointment.

The Tall Ship at Riverside

A visit to The Tall Ship brings to life the maritime history of Glasgow and the River Clyde. Built at Port Glasgow in 1896, the Glenlee is one of only five Clydebuilt sailing ships still afloat anywhere in the world and the only one in the British Isles.
The Glenlee first worked as a cargo ship (1896-1921) and then as a Spanish Navy training ship (1922-1981).
In 1992, the Spanish Navy sold Glenlee to the Clyde Maritime Trust to be restored to her original condition as a sailing cargo ship.
In 1999, the Tall Ship opened as a museum and visitor attraction and now welcomes thousands of people from home and abroad each year.
